Cherokee Country Club is also only a minute drive if you love to play Golf, Tennis or Swim!

This neighborhood is directly across the Tennessee River from Sequoyah Hills and is accessible via Alcoa Highway. Residents often say, “I live up off Lyons Bend” or mention “Badgett Road” to indicate this desirable section. Within Lyons Bend, you’ll find several distinct subdivisions, many of which boast stunning lakefront homes. For those not living directly on the lake, Duncan Boat Dock is a popular spot to keep their boats.

Convenience is a key feature of Lyons Bend, with Rocky Hill Shopping Center, West Town Mall, and Bearden Shopping Center all located nearby. However, some residents have noted that the winding roads can be a bit challenging.

Victoria’s Inlet is not part of River Club but is located just outside its boundaries. This exclusive enclave features a few luxury lakefront homes, providing a serene and upscale living environment.

Mariners Pointe is a lakefront community with an HOA but you only pay county taxes. Having a club house, pool, tennis court, basketball court and some shared boat docks, makes the HOA worth it. All of the homes are stucco and all of the homes are the same style that are on the lake. Keller Bend is a windy road but it is a fantastic neighborhood to be in that is an affordable lakefront Knoxville, TN community. 

River Sound

Along with a majority of the lakefront Knoxville communities, this subdivision is located off of Northshore drive. The nice part about this subdivision, is you’re very close to Northshore Towne Center Shopping and there are no windy roads to get to this neighborhood. The Breakers is another section in this neighborhood that is much more affordable than the homes and you still can be on the lake. River Sound is in the 37922 zip code with some beautiful lake front homes.

Arcadia- Luxury Lakefront Communities

This lakefront community in Knoxville, TN is right beside River Sound along Northshore Drive. A lot of these homes are custom builds and are some of the most expensive homes in Knoxville. Some of the homes even have a mountain view. Not all of the homes are on the water and some of the lots in the subdivision are vacant lots. This subdivision is in the 37922 zip code.

Jefferson Park, Mallard Bay, The Woods at Montgomery Cove

The reason we are clumping these 3 neighborhoods together is because they are so close to one another. These neighborhoods are zoned in great school districts and located more so in the Farragut area. Not all of the homes in these subdivisions are lakefront but are very close to Concord Marina and some even have a private boat slip.

Choto Area- Lakefront Communities.

Along Fort Loudon Lake, you have the Choto area. Choto Road can be a little bit of a windy road that takes you to several neighborhoods where there are homes along the Tennessee River. You also have Choto Marina where a lot of homeowners in this area keep their boats. This area of town is closer to Lenoir City than downtown Knoxville.
