Sequoyah Hills

Sequoyah Hills is with out a doubt recognized as one of Knoxville’s luxury neighborhoods. Developed in the 1920’s, making it one of Knoxville’s first communities. With parks located along the Tennessee river, jogging and bike trails, Sequoyah Hills makes a great neighborhood for the avid outdoor lovers. Send your kids to Sequoyah Hills Elementary, Bearden Middle, and West High School. A big neighborhood with beautiful homes everywhere makes a top of the line neighborhood in Knoxville.

In 2017, a total of 62 homes closed in Sequoyah Hills with the most expensive home closing at $1,795,000 and the lowest closing at $97,500. The average sales price was $582,392, while these homes spent an average of 75 days on the market. The homes that closed in Sequoyah Hills have had an average of 3,415 square feet.

So far in 2018, 2 homes have closed in Sequoyah Hills while 18 remain active. The most expensive home closed at $625,000 and the lowest closed at $162,500. These homes spent an average of 90 days on the market and have an average of 4,181 square feet.

Westmoreland

Another one of Knoxville’s luxury neighborhoods is Westmoreland. Not only is it an elegant place to live but the location is fantastic. Located only a few minutes from the West Town mall, minutes from Turkey Creek Shopping Center, and Knoxville’s Downtown. To receive excellent education opportunities, you can send your kids to Rocky Hill elementary, Bearden Middle School and West High School. With plenty of restaurants and places to gather with friends, Westmoreland is one of Knoxville’s most popular to live in.

In 2017, a total of 37 homes closed in Westmoreland. The most expensive home closed at $1,595,000 with the lowest closing at $199,000. The average sales price was $523,947, while these homes spent an average of 99 days on the market. The homes that have closed in Westmoreland  had an average of 3,957 square feet.

So far in 2018 11 homes have closed while 14 remain active. The most expensive home has sold for $945,000 while the lowest closed at $400,000. The average sales price has been $637,000 with an average square footage of 4,246. These homes have spent an average of 106 days on the market.

Kensington

 A neighborhood located in the county with mostly traditional 2 story homes that have beautiful landscape makes this high on the list of Knoxville’s luxury neighborhoods. These homes have some of the best floor plans and curb appeal in West Knoxville. With HOA fees of only 150 yearly and being a fairly new neighborhood makes this one of Knoxville’s most popular subdivisions to live in. Send your kids to Rocky Hill for Elementary, West Valley Middle, or West High School.

In 2017, 14 homes closed in Kensington. The most expensive home has closed at  $710,000, while the lowest closed for $380,000. The average sales price so far is $488,714, while these homes spent an average of 200 days on the market. The homes that closed in Kensington this year had an average of 3,695 square feet.

So far in 2018, 3 home have closed in Kensington. There are currently 5 homes for sale with an average list price of $679,500. These homes have spent an average of 77 days on the market and have an average of 5,500 square feet.

Whittington Creek

Located right off  North Shore Dr. and down the street from Kensington subdivision lies one of Knoxville’s luxury neighborhoods, Whittington Creek. Having some of the best amenities any neighborhood could have makes it one of the best. With a 25 meter olympic swimming pool, 4 tennis courts, a full court basketball court, sand volley, and much more makes this subdivision a kids paradise. With HOA fees of only $75 monthly, being zoned for Blue Grass elementary, West Valley Middle, and Bearden High makes Whitting Creek another one of Knoxville’s luxury neighborhoods.

In 2017, 24 sold in Whittington Creek. The most expensive home closed for $1,149,00, while the lowest sold for $515,000. The average sales price was $659,594 and these homes spent an average of 134 days on the market. The homes that closed in Whittington Creek had an average of 4,509 square feet.

So far in 2018, 4 homes have closed in Whittington Creek while 13 remain active. These homes have an average of 5,600 square feet and average list price of $921,000.

Gettysvue

Live in a neighborhood filled with luxury style homes and become part of the prestigious Knoxville Gettysvue Polo, Golf, and Country Club. Tennis courts, a pool and fitness facility, with an exquisite English-style clubhouse makes this an enjoyable neighborhood to be in. In 2017, only 12 homes have sold in Gettysvue. The most expensive home closed for $1,760,000, while the lowest sold for $320,000. The average sales price was $769,625, while these homes spent an average of 159 days on the market. The homes closing in Gettysvue sold at an average of 5,226 square feet.

So far in 2018, No homes have closed in Gettysvue. There are 16 homes that are currently on the market with an average list price of $993,000 with an average of 6,324 square feet.
